Some Assembly Required

This is a series of work that developed during the making of The Machine, a previous instillation work. These functioning goblets are based around the use of embedding bolts into the hot hollow glass. This approach is constantly evolving through investigation into the traditional blown glass vessel, the goblet. Variations in making encompassing the scale and type of fixings continue to add to the obscurity of these objects.
